Anna and Mark // September 4, 2016 // The Bradford

Anna and Mark’s BEAUTIFUL wedding at The Bradford was a day to remember, and we can’t wait to tell you about it!

Anna reached out to us about 3 months before her wedding realizing she needed help, and fast! She had so many ideas she wanted to bring to life, but was stuck on how to make it all happen so she could be the bride on her special day. This is where I (Jessica) came in! Bring to the table the fact that Anna is an established wedding photographer based in Wilmington, then you KNOW her wedding is going to be chalk full of details! After speaking a few times and finally meeting while gushing over gorgeous linens, Anna and I couldn’t wait to see how this was all going to unfold!

On the morning of the rehearsal, a lot of Anna and Mark’s friends drove straight from Wilmington.. so we all started off our rehearsal with coffee in hand (let’s be honest, most things happen with coffee in hand for me anyhow). It was slightly wet that morning, but the following day had gorgeous weather on tap for us, and we were so thankful being it was early September and we all weren’t going to melt. All the praise! After a successful rehearsal, we hugged and went our separate ways the rest of the day.

The next day came and the weather did not disappoint. The high was only to be about 83 and the morning started off nice and refreshing, it was such a great way to kick off set up! Upon arrival, I checked on Anna and she was already breath taking… without even being in her dress yet! After “ooh-ing” and “ahh-ing” at the beautiful bride, I made my way downstairs with one task in mind (okay, millions of tasks): LETS. DO. THIS.

Before I get ahead of myself, here are a few photos of Anna getting ready with her girls <3

And how darling is this photo of her bridesmaids seeing her in her dress for the first time?!

But before we get to seeing these two as Mr. and Mrs., let’s admire some of these amazing detail shots! After all, Anna worked HARD collecting and making all of the items displayed on her special day. I helped pull everything together she had in mind and set it all out for her! It was tedious, but GORGEOUS, so I didn’t mind šŸ˜‰ And after all, this is one reason why I do what I do… I love executing details!

And a little ring shot, because other than your husband, diamonds ARE a girls best friend!

And now for the ladies and gentlemen of honor: the bridal party!

After Mark and Anna declared their love and dedication to one another amongst their family and friends, Amber with Six Foot Photography took some AMAZING photos of the couple. I couldn’t pick a favorite, so you get to enjoy several! But the first photo is right after the ceremony, just look at the sheer happiness!

I mean seriously. Are y’all models and keeping it secret? Because I can’t even.

Lastly I’ll close with some of my favorite shots that happened throughout the rest of the night…

I LOVE how involved their bridal party was during their first dance. Look at them rooting for a kiss!

Then Mark got down to business with the cake smashing…

But Anna had a few tricks up her sleeve, too!

Just before heading off into their Happily Ever After, Mark boastsĀ his prize of a wife while Anna showed off she is now MRS. TAYLOR!

Best wishes you two! I hope and pray your marriage is as delightful and fun as your wedding day was. What a great start to forever! I was so happy to be a part of your day!
