So many words come to mind when I think about Amanda and Landon’s intimate February wedding: elegant, classy, timeless, chic, romantic… just to name a few! When I first met with them to go over the details of their day, I couldn’t wait to see how it would all come together. Hearing their vision of wanting a formal and elegant wedding, with soft romantic touches had my heart eyes in full effect. And to top it off, Amanda is the sweetest and most friendly person, it was a joy to work alongside her! Every time we met she told me a new detail she had thought of, or a new vendor she had booked (rockstar lineup by the way!) and I was counting down the days to February 26th, because I myself could not wait to be a part of this magical day. I’ll let the pictures do most of the talking. Amanda and Landon, THANK YOU for allowing me to be a part of your wedding, it was a pleasure to work with you! xoxo Jessica
Here are a few detail shots as well as Amanda writing her vows and being absolutely stunning in her dress…
Now, we are going to talk about something not everyone is on board with (and that’s okay!) which is: the first look! We respect everyone’s opinion and decision on the subject, but we always see such a huge benefit of doing one, the main one being you allow yourself so much time to be with your boo to get AMAZING shots you may of otherwise not had time to take. Especially in this case, when it gets dark pretty early and Amanda wanted a dusk wedding, the only way to get photos with good lighting was to see each other before the ceremony. But I can tell you, they did not regret it one bit, and the butterflies were still there when they saw each other again at the ceremony! Look at how amazing these photos are. And can we all just stop and appreciate the absolute model status of this dynamite couple?!
Now for the ceremony! The space was turned into such a romantic setting with help from the chandeliers and draping, the flowers, and the always stunning Chivari chair. Amanda and her mom are BFFs, so she couldn’t think of anyone else to walk her down the aisle. The last photo deserves some kudos, because that is one awesome dip kiss!
After the ceremony, guests had cocktails on the upper landing while we flipped the space behind pipe and drape, and boy, look how magical it was!
Now that the space was ready for guests, it was time to celebrate with their closest friends and family! A quick dress revamp for Amanda (hello, stunning!) and this couple was ready to party! After dancing their hearts out, it was time to send this couple off to married bliss with a classic sparkler exit. Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Ford!
